Deployment & Applications

About this report

A practical guide to reading industrial humanoid deployment claims without turning a demonstration, pilot or commercial agreement into evidence of scaled production. The report examines eight detailed customer situations and a 14-project ledger, keeping the task, site, date and source of each claim visible.

Case studies are paired with operational diligence and next-evidence requests. Later sections address autonomy, accepted throughput, availability, full-service economics, safety, integration and contracts, helping operations and procurement teams define what must be proven before a pilot expands.

Download contents: The paid download is a ZIP package containing the 55-page full report PDF, the 9-page preview PDF and 3 CSV files covering deployment, claim and source ledgers, plus a GXO source-context note. It also includes read-me, methodology/review-status and third-party-notice text files. No XLSX workbook is included. CSV files are static tables, not automatically recalculating workbooks. The separate free download remains the preview PDF only.

Executive summary

Humanoid progress is specific to a workflow, configuration and observation period. Customer acknowledgment of a project is valuable evidence, but it does not independently establish productive fleet size, intervention-adjusted performance or return on investment. The report separates relationship evidence from operational results and distinguishes completed pilots from continuing deployments.

Human support and repeatability are central open questions. Recovery, supervision, setup and maintenance can change the economics of apparently autonomous work. The report also preserves the dated distinction between GXO’s 2024 commercial announcement and its August 2026 ROI and production comments, rather than treating either statement as a universal verdict on the other.

Coverage

Customer deployment case studies

Eight detailed studies spanning GXO/Digit, three BMW projects, Mercedes-Benz/Apollo, Siemens/HMND 01, Jabil/Apollo and Vodafone warehouse inspection.

Deployment evidence ledger

A 14-project deployment ledger with separate operating, agreement and historical evidence.

Operating performance measures

Task-level measurement: autonomy, accepted output, intervention, utilization and complete service cost.

Buyer diligence and expansion

Buyer diligence for integration, safety, contracts, reference calls and staged expansion.

Key questions

  • What distinguishes a demonstration, on-site pilot, commercial agreement and expanded deployment?
  • Which claims are customer-hosted and which remain vendor-reported?
  • What operating denominators and human-support costs are still missing?
  • Can an accepted workflow be repeated at another station or site?
  • What evidence should buyers require before increasing a commitment?

Methodology

Selective public-primary-source review through 16 October 2026, prioritizing named customers and identifiable workflows. Relationship existence, operating setting, measurement boundary and supported conclusion are assessed separately. Customer-hosted evidence is distinguished from vendor-hosted statements; neither is an independent operational audit.

Generative AI assisted research synthesis, drafting, analysis, calculations and graphics. Source comparisons, computational cross-checks, navigation checks and visual reviews were internal production checks, not external professional review, certification or an independent audit. No hands-on robot field tests or interviews were conducted.

Disclosures

General information and educational industry analysis only. Not personalized investment, legal, engineering, safety, insurance, tax or other professional advice; no operating approval, certification or outcome is guaranteed. Obtain qualified advice for the actual application and jurisdiction.

One Robotics Supply Group LLC publishes under Humanoid Robotics Reports. Its owner reports ownership interests in related businesses, including robotics supply and distribution. As of 17 October 2026, the owner reports no investments in other covered companies and no current coverage-related sponsorship, dealer or referral connections. These are owner-reported statements, not an independently audited portfolio or relationship review. Related interests create potential commercial conflicts.

Public sources may be incomplete, promotional, forward-looking or later revised. Later production checks do not refresh every underlying fact. Company and operator claims remain attributed; illustrative cases are not supplier quotations, forecasts or proven outcomes. Future material coverage-related relationships require specific, current disclosure.
