About this report
Injection-molding automation must improve the complete route from mold opening to accepted packed output. This report helps molders compare sprue pickers, Cartesian takeout systems and articulated robots against the condition of warm parts, cavity identity, downstream flow and recurring setup effort. It covers thermoplastic molding takeout, inserts, in-mold labeling, inspection, secondary processing and packing without presenting a robot specification as production qualification.
Twenty-five paired analysis and verification topics turn application risks into evidence requests, rejection conditions and representative pilot questions. Public ARBURG, ENGEL, WITTMANN, Sepro and EUROMAP material provides carefully bounded context. Seven CSV companions support buyer gates, supplier evidence, changeover and pilot records, plus static fictional output, economics and lost-capacity calculations. The result is a framework for a complete-cell purchasing decision, not a supplier ranking or machinery operating procedure.
Download contents
The paid HRR34_Customer_Download.zip contains all 12 listed files: the full report, matching preview, 7 CSV data/reference files and three TXT guides/notices. CSVs are editable records or static worked values, not automatically recalculating models. No XLSX workbook, robot software, certification, consulting service or supplier-system access is included. Blank fields are not completed approvals.

Executive summary
Evaluate the mold-open critical path and the next operation’s accepted condition before comparing arm speed. Handling that shortens a dry cycle can still damage warm parts, break cavity traceability or create a downstream queue. The guide separates supplier customer cases, exhibition announcements, prototypes, discovery pages and interface documents. A named demonstration or recognized interface does not establish regional availability, complete-cell compatibility or independent performance.
Commercial acceptance should reconcile actual cavities, quality dispositions, packed quantities, staffing, plant-led changeovers and recovery. Data interfaces and safety functions need distinct qualified ownership. Fictional calculations separate usable demand from theoretical capacity and labor opportunity from realized cash savings; an additional downside case accounts for lost baseline output that a positive-only benefit model can hide. Procurement should normalize tooling, integration, support and approval scope, then permit the pilot to proceed, narrow, request specific evidence or stop.
Who this report is for
Molding-company owners and capital buyers: compare complete installed scope rather than robot price or headline cycle time.
Process and automation engineers: define warm-part handling, tooling, interfaces, buffers and supported mold families.
Quality and production leaders: preserve cavity identity, inspection authority, accepted quantities and repeatable changeovers.
Operations, maintenance and finance teams: test recovery, service burden, demand-limited capacity and supportable savings.
Coverage
Molding-cell design
critical-path timing, robot architecture, warm flexible parts, multicavity identity, end-of-arm tooling and press/robot responsibilities.
Production and quality
insert presentation, in-mold labeling, cooling, dimensional and cosmetic inspection, degating, material segregation, assembly and packout.
Changeover and ownership
last-good to first-good timing, complete recipe sets, actual product mix, contamination controls, utilities, service, recovery and specialist safety review.
Evidence and economics
supplier-source maturity, EUROMAP version limits, complete-cell tender scope, fictional accepted-output and financial models, lost-output stress case and gated pilot.
Key questions
- Which robot activities actually delay the next molding cycle, and which overlap existing machine time?
- Will representative warm parts remain acceptable through cooling, inspection and packout?
- How will cavity identity, quality status and physical quantities survive transfers and interruptions?
- What recurring changeover, tooling, integration and support work belongs in the quotation?
- Does the business case value only usable capacity and charge any lost baseline output?

Methodology
Public-source research retains an evidence cutoff of 16 October 2026, with checks on 17 October. The nine-entry source register and supplier evidence matrix distinguish attributed customer cases, dated exhibition announcements, undated discovery pages, product literature, technical recommendations and official guidance. The reviewed EUROMAP 79 document is a release candidate, not a universal installed-compliance claim.
The 25 paired analyses and verification worksheets are original procurement guidance, not operating recipes, approved validation procedures or certification. Public material is selective, not a market census; supplier claims and prototype plans remain attributed. Current configurations, commercial terms, territory and support require a separate written proposal. No supplier outreach is represented.
Seven CSVs provide editable evidence records and static fictional scenarios. They do not automatically recalculate. Output, availability, yield, demand, labor saving and cost assumptions require site evidence; simple payback excludes financing, tax, discounting, ramp losses and residual value. The added lost-output case makes an important limitation of the positive-only capacity model explicit.
Generative AI assisted research synthesis, drafting, analysis, calculations and graphics. Source comparisons, computational cross-checks, text/navigation checks and visual layout reviews were internal production checks, not external professional review, certification or independent audit. No hands-on robot field tests or interviews were conducted.
Disclosures
This is educational research and purchasing analysis, not engineering approval, a conformity assessment, an operating procedure, legal advice or a warranty. Qualified professionals and the responsible institution must determine site requirements, hazards, validation and release. No supplier performance, investment return or service result is guaranteed.
One Robotics Supply Group LLC publishes this report under Humanoid Robotics Reports. Its owner has ownership interests in related businesses, including robotics supply and distribution. As of 17 October 2026, the owner reports no investments in other companies covered by the collection and no current coverage-related sponsorship, dealer or referral connections. These statements are owner-reported, not independently audited; related-business ownership creates commercial interests readers should consider.
Company and operator statements remain attributed claims. Inclusion does not establish endorsement, supplier certification, authorized-dealer status or universal availability. Public evidence is selective and can be incomplete, promotional, mutable or later revised. Readers should obtain current technical and commercial evidence for their own application.
Fictional cases and calculations are teaching examples, not quotations, forecasts, proven results or completed approvals. Later production checks do not refresh every underlying fact. Any future material relationship, compensation or benefit relevant to coverage requires a specific, current disclosure in the affected material.
